"Men have lived to conquer all other forms of life, from the mastodon to the microbe. Men have lived to build walls and roads and pyramids which have defied the elements for thousands of years. Men have lived to write music which has pleased the gods and lines which have made the angels sigh and the Devil weep."

- L. Ron Hubbard

Featured Artist of the Month: Leigh Ann Edrich

The creative journey of Leigh Ann Edrich, known by her artist name Ilia, began at the kitchen table, surrounded by family, flora, and afternoons alive with crayons, papier-mâché, and inventive projects guided by her mother’s imaginative spirit. These early explorations laid the foundation for a lifelong devotion to both visual and written art. Celebrated internationally, Ilia’s artistry was recently recognized in the global magazine AATONAU.

Please tell us a little bit about your art business.

I create Dreamscapes. I invented a technique and used the Art Book and Mood Lines to get my message across. I create the parts first, then put the dreamscape together using a process which takes fifty to a hundred hours per creation. Then I survey each one. If it is not understood easily or not liked then it goes into the trash. If it passes the test, it becomes part of an ever growing collection that people enjoy.

In general, how has the use of Mr. Hubbard's administrative technology impacted your business?

When I first started in the group, I only had a few Divisions of my Organizing Board that were in operation: Production and Promotion. However, there's seven divisions in an Organizing Board and to really achieve my dreams and goals, I had to put ALL of the divisions in. In doing so, I went from locally known to being known worldwide.

What piece of Mr. Hubbard's administrative wisdom have you found particularly helpful in making your business successful?

The Condition Formulas are what will make your dreams become a reality. After becoming a world known artist, I put my next step into action and am applying the Expanded Non-E formula. It's almost like magic because the actions I'm aiming to accomplish are occurring almost without effort.

As a successful art business owner, is there one really valuable tip that you would like our readers to take away with them?

Reach for the stars. Dream your dreams. You can accomplish what you aim for by using the Hubbard Administrative Technology.
